Seeking self-motivated professional paralegal to join a multi-million dollar dining & entertainment company in the Annapolis, Maryland area. This is an excellent opportunity to use your legal research skills in a challenging new way. In this role, your primary responsibilities would include:
• Conducting and performing research for company attorneys.
• Assist in the preparation of contracts
• Researching laws and regulations and analyzing applicability to issues or situations pertaining to business.
• Drafting memoranda summarizing legal issues and research results
• Handling regulatory filings
• Coordinating and/or negotiating variables to state-specific contracts with permitting, insurance, liquor license and related filings
• Responsible for other legal issues that may need to be facilitated related to real estate, food and beverage.
• Completing other duties as assigned
Preferred qualifications include:
• A background in the liquor license, real estate, food/beverage and regulated business
• Large company experience
Requirements
• Paralegal experience
• Highly proficient computer and web research skills.
• College degree or Paralegal certificate
