Position: Paralegal

ZELL LAW, a dynamic, growing estate and business planning law firm located in Reston, VA is seeking a Paralegal with 1 to 3 years of paralegal experience.  Experience in estate planning and estate and trust administration is preferred.  Position includes extensive client interaction and responsibility for:

  • Preparing documents for signing
  • Preparing estate planning binders
  • Funding of revocable trusts
  • Drafting initial estate planning documents;
  • Assisting with administration and accounting for probate including preparing inventories and accountings

Candidates must be motivated, self-starters with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills (written and oral).  Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree and/or a Paralegal Certificate.  Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and on-line research programs.

Position: Legal Secretary

ZELL LAW, a dynamic, growing estate and business planning law firm located in Reston, VA, is seeking a Legal Secretary with a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience preferably in a law firm handling non-litigation (i.e., transactional and/or estate planning) matters. 

Position includes responsibility for:

  • preparing and drafting correspondence
  • reviewing, proofreading and editing documents
  • scheduling client appointments and managing calendars for attorneys and paralegals
  • copying and preparing documents for distribution to clients
  • organizing and filing legal documents

This position will support 3 attorneys and 2 paralegals.  Candidate must be:

  • able to produce high quality documents and correspondence with outstanding attention to details. 
  • a motivated, self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills (written and oral). 
  • able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
  • proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possess a high school degree or equivalent.
