The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Office of Enforcement is seeking to hire an experienced paralegal to work within the Division of Investigations. The office is responsible for the enforcement of the Commission’s statutes, orders, and rules governing the nation's electric, gas, and oil pipeline markets to ensure fair and competitive markets, including newly vested authorities under the Energy Policy Act of 2005. The successful applicant will perform a full range of complex investigation and litigation support activities, including discovery processing; preparation for depositions, hearings and trials; and, automated factual and industry research, including use of various online and database facilities pertaining to Enforcement’s investigations. Prior experience relating to the energy industry is helpful, but not required.
