Quinn Racusin & Gazzola Chartered seeks a full-time Paralegal to support the Estate and Trust Partner. The job responsibilities include answering telephone calls, copying, mailing, and filing papers, drafting letters, estate documents and pleadings and legal research. The candidate should have a BA or BS degree, strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and willingness to work on multiple and complex issues simultaneously. The organization develops curricula, trains educators and other professionals, and implements law-related education programs. Details about the organization are available at www.streetlaw.org.

Street Law is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to provide support for several US-based projects. This person would report directly to Street Law’s director of US Programs.

Supreme Court Institute and Seminars
• Provide support for two six-day summer institutes at Georgetown University Law Center and the Supreme Court of the United States for 60 social studies teachers from around the country. Tasks include conducting outreach, coordinating with hotels and caterers, communicating with participants, preparing materials, maintaining a database of previous participants, and preparing and analyzing results of evaluations completed by participants.
• Work with program staff and the marketing manager to disseminate information about the Institute and Seminars and ensure that existing materials are up-to-date, including those on the Street Law web site.
• Provide support for local three-day seminars on the Supreme Court in New York City and St. Louis (for 2007 – 08; other possible locations in following years). Duties include coordinating with hosting law firm, hotels, catering, communication with participants, materials preparation, and assisting with budgeting, preparing and analyzing results of evaluations completed by participants. Traveling to trainings is required.

Diversity Pipeline
• Provide support for the Corporate Legal Diversity Pipeline Program. Support duties include maintaining database, writing and editing program information/articles, collecting and posting web-based materials for the program, shipping materials to sites, preparing materials for site-based trainings, and writing and sending correspondence.

Textbook Revision Research and Support
• Provide research and support for the 8th edition of the Street Law textbook, including developing materials for the web site for teachers and students that will complement the text.

Web site link management
• Regularly monitor web sites for Landmark Cases and the Street Law textbook web sites using link checking software. Provide updates and replace broken links. Systematically review the current links for accuracy, sources, dated material, or poor secondary links.

Other
• Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as requesting materials, photocopying, faxing, mailing materials, preparing handouts, support for the annual Street Law Awards Dinner, correspondence, and assistance in conversion to the new Street Law organizational web site.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, as is some event planning experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as are strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Access, Powerpoint and Excel).
